The Delaware Association of Surveyors, Inc. is an organization designed to help advance knowledge and practice through education, networking and business, and to help the profession maintain a high standard of ethical practices. It provides a forum to discuss common problems, find solutions to those problems, as well as a means to stay aware of recent changes to licensing and legislation.

Surveying Defined

Surveying is the science of measuring the size and shape of the Earth and accurately locating points on the surface of Earth. These points and their coordinates define exactly where we were in the past, where we are today, and where we will be in the future. Transportation and engineering projects, mapping, urban and enviromental management, and the definition of legal boundaries for land ownership would not be possible without surveying.
